To access the Android keyboard settings

When you enter text using the on-screen keyboard, tap and hold
appears.

Tap Android keyboard settings.
Mark the Show settings key checkbox in Android keyboard settings to make
available on the on-screen keyboard.
To change the Android keyboard writing language

When you enter text using the on-screen keyboard, tap and hold
appears.

Tap Input languages, then unmark the Use system language checkbox.

Mark the relevant checkboxes. then press
To switch between languages, tap and hold the space bar and select an input method.
Xperia™ keyboard
You can also select the Xperia™ keyboard as your text input method. The Xperia™
keyboard gives you two different options, the on-screen keyboard and the Phonepad.
The Phonepad is similar to a 12-key telephone keypad. The on-screen keyboard is
similar to the Android keyboard, but also has other features such as Gesture input.
On-screen keyboard
Tap the keys of the on-screen QWERTY keyboard to enter text conveniently. Some
applications open the on-screen keyboard automatically. You can also open this
keyboard by touching a text field.
Using the on-screen keyboard

1 Change the character case and turn on the caps lock. For some languages, this key is used to access
extra characters in the language.
2 Close the on-screen keyboard view. Note that this icon does not appear in portrait mode.
3 Display numbers and symbols.
4 Personalise your keyboard. This key disappears after the keyboard is personalised.
5 Enter a space.
6 Enter a carriage return or confirm text input.
7 Delete a character before the cursor.
