Selecting the picture
character
You can select the quality of the image from among
four options (OFF, 1, 2 and 3) according to the type of
programming, picture tone or personal preferences.
To select the picture character [THEATER
POSITION]

During playback

Press TV/VIDEO - THEATER POSITION while
holding down SHIFT.
The theater position display appears on the TV
screen.

Select the desired theater position by
pressing TV/VIDEO - THEATER POSITION
while holding down SHIFT.
Each press changes the option as follows.

Selected picture character
THEATER 1
THEATER 2
THEATER 3
THEATER OFF
NOTES
• The theater position display will automatically disappear
if you do not change the theater position for 5 seconds.
• To turn off the theater position display manually, press
ENTER.
