Updating the Software

1. Connect the device to your
computer using the micro-B cable
(page 42).
The AutoPlay menu opens.
2. Select an option:
• If you are using a PC,
double-click
myGarmin Agent download
page.
• If you are on a Mac computer,
go to www.garmin.com/agent.
• If the AutoPlay menu does not
open go to
.com/agent.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
After you have installed myGarmin
Agent, you are prompted to open
myDashboard when you connect
your device to your computer.

to open the
www.garmin
myDashboard checks your device
for current software and provides
additional information about your
device.

Clearing User Data

1. Turn the device on.
2. Hold your finger on the lower-
right corner of the device screen.
3. Keep your finger pressed until the
pop-up window appears.
4. Touch Yes to clear all user data.
All original settings are restored.
Any items that you have saved are
erased.

Battery Information

The battery icon in the status
bar indicates the status of the internal
battery.
