MC9500-K Mobile Computer User Guide
Angle
Scanning angle is important for promoting quick decodes.
The MC9500-K scans at a 15° angle which improves scanning ergonomics.
Hold the MC9500-K farther away for larger symbols.
Move the MC9500-K closer for symbols with bars that are close together.
NOTE Scanning procedures depend on the application and MC9500-K configuration. An application may use
different scanning procedures from the one listed above.

Laser Scanning

Ensure that a scan enabled application is loaded on the MC9500-K.

Press and hold the scan button. The laser beam exits from the end of the MC9500-K. Ensure the red scan
