Since September, 2003, all dishwashers have
included larger terminal boxes (junction boxes/J-
boxes) with covers.
Old terminal boxes
New box

Unlike old boxes
NOTE:
(where conduits exited bottom
of boxes), new terminal boxes
have rear conduit exits.

– toe kicks were approved as terminal box
covers. There's no need to change out old
terminal boxes.
