The correct quantity of oil is equal to the oil capacity of the engine crankcase and is 13.5 fluid oz (0.40 L) for this Model GEN1850 Portable Generator. Add the correct quantity of oil before operating this generator for the first time.

The oil level in this generator should be checked before each use. (See Figure 9.) When the oil level is low, add oil until the level is sufficient to operate this generator.
