Shredding and Slicing
Only use the included push stick when
feeding food into the shredder/slicer. Do
NOT push food into the throat with your fin-
gers—they could easily be cut or severed!
Also, never use metal utensils because
these could damage the grinder.
To avoid damaging the blade, remove all
stems and seeds before feeding fruit.

Laceration of fingers could occur if you
remove food from the shredding cone area
while the appliance is operating. Always
disconnect grinder from power, then use a
spatula or wooden spoon to remove food.

Tip: A rule of thumb is to add an amount of
water equal to 8% of the weight of the meat.
Water will improve the flow of meat through
the stuffing tube.
