Pay particular attention to the LEDs on the front panel. Front Panel The router front panel has the status LEDs, buttons, and ports shown in the following figure.

    AC750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router R6050 Connect to the Network You can connect to the router’s network through a wired or WiFi connection. If you set up your computer to use a static IP address, change the settings so that it uses Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

    Specify Your Internet and WiFi Settings Usually, the quickest way to set up the router to use your Internet connection is to allow the genie to detect the Internet connection when you first access the router with a web browser. You can also customize or specify your Internet and WiFi settings.

You can set up a DMZ (demilitarized zone) server, change the maximum transmit unit (MTU) size, and enable the router to respond to a ping to its WAN (Internet) port.
