  • Page 6 Features of your new Thermostat With your new thermostat, you can: • Control the temperature of your home anywhere using your smartphone. • Get energy saving recommendations based on your specific temperature settings, schedule, usage and climate. • Set alerts to notify you of unusual usage and more. • Learn if you are paying too much by seeing how your energy usage compares to homes of similar size.

    Setting filter reminder intervals If activated during installation, the filter reminder Inside alerts you with a message above the time when it is time to replace your filter.     Unregistering thermostat If you remove the thermostat from your Opower Energy App account (for example, you’re moving and leaving the thermostat behind), the message center will scroll Inside UNREGISTERED FROM OPOWER for 3 minutes. After that, it will alternate displaying MORE RESIGTER AT OPOWER, the MAC ID and the MAC CRC.
