Multi-unit stacking allows the library to grow with changing storage requirements for up 16 drives
and 240 slots using either MSL6000 or MSL5000 Tape Libraries.
Available with a broad choice of tape technologies including Ultrium 960, Ultrium 460, and
SDLT600; and with either an Ultra320 LVD-SCSI or 4Gb Fibre Channel interface (Ultrium 960
only).
Upgrade to a new drive technology by simply installing a drive upgrade kit into an existing library
chassis.
A controller-based architecture allows direct-attach configurations to easily move to a SAN
environment via an interface card upgrade.
User-friendly GUI control panel and web interface make library management easy from any
remote or local location.
Tape libraries provide consistent backup and automatically change tapes with a robotics rating of
2 million Mean Swaps Between Failures (MSBF).
Works with industry-leading servers, operating systems and backup software.

For dedicated import/export of data cartridges, each library includes one to two configurable mail
slots, along with two to four removable magazines, dependent upon library configuration.
Meets lead-free initiatives required for EU compliance.
