  • Page 15 Setting Up Your Phone Before you connect two phones together, make sure you have the optional Multi-Interface Module Package (containing a Multi-Interface Module, 12-foot Network Cable (10-pin), Power Adapter, and Regional Power Cord) and the optional Console Interconnect Cable. The following figure shows how to connect two phones to the network using AC power.

    You can connect microphones to your phone using an optional External Microphone Kit. Depending on the External Microphone Kit you have, your kit will contain either two SoundStation IP 7000 extension microphones (analog), or two Polycom HDX Microphone Arrays (digital).
