Unlike a standard webcam, the DCS-5010L is a complete system with a built-in CPU and web server that transmits high quality video images for security and surveillance. -

Installation There are three ways to set up your camera: Zero Configuration Setup: If you have a mydlink-enabled router (D-Link cloud router), this is the easiest way to set up your camera. Refer to “Zero Configuration Setup” on page 10. -

Step 1 - Connect the Ethernet Cable and Power Cable Use the included Ethernet cable and plug it into the camera. Plug the other end into an available (LAN) port on your D-Link Cloud Router.
