Warranty

Buffalo Technology (USA), Inc. (Buffalo) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the
date of purchase. This warranty applies to the first end-user and is not transferable to subsequent owners, and it applies only to the country/region
of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to third party, non-Buffalo produced components that are supplied with the warranted Buffalo product. Buffalo makes
no warranty of any kind on such products which, if included, are provided "as is. " Excluded is any damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse,
non-Buffalo supplied or approved alterations or unapproved media, or external environmental causes. Buffalo makes no warranty that the product
will be free of vulnerability from intrusion or other outside attack.
Should this product have a defect in materials or workmanship, you must notify Buffalo within the warranty period to receive warranty service.
If the Buffalo representative determines your product is eligible for warranty service, you will be required to return it to Buffalo, shipping prepaid,
along with proper identification, a return authorization number provided by the representative, and proof of purchase. NOTE: Buffalo is not
responsible for protecting, recovering, or returning data as part of warranty service, so you should duplicate or back up your data before shipment.
Buffalo will repair or replace the product at Buffalo's exclusive option and expense. Buffalo may use new or refurbished (believed by Buffalo to be
equivalent to new) parts or products to do so. If neither option is possible, Buffalo reserves the right in its sole discretion to provide a refund as full
satisfaction of this warranty.
In no event shall Buffalo's liability exceed the original purchase price of the product. Further, Buffalo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental,
consequential, or special damages or losses, including loss of data, use, or profits.
The above warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranties, express or implied. Buffalo specifically disclaims any implied warranties,
including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied warranty required by applicable law shall be
limited in duration to the express warranty term.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN
IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND/OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL
RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.
