The notches on the DIMM shifts between left, center, or right to identify the type and also to prevent the wrong type from being inserted into the DIMM slot on the motherboard.

  • Page 32 4) Wake-On-LAN Connector (3-pin WOL_CON) This connector connects to a LAN card with a Wake-On-LAN output, such as the ASUS PCI-L101 Ethernet card (see 7. Appendix). The connector powers up the system when a wakeup packet or signal is received through the LAN card.
  • Page 33 Connect the fan plug to the board taking into consideration the polarity of the connector. NOTE: Use the “Rotation” signal only with a specially designed fan with a rotation signal.
