Before Recording

Setting for Auto Chapter

Set the Chapter Interval. When Recording, Chapters will
Automatically be created based on this Setting.
This Setting applies to Normal Recording, One-Touch Recording
and Timer Recording.

Follow the Steps below to Record a TV program.
Note(s)
• When Playback of a Recorded Program is Blocked by the
Child Lock, a message appears on the TV Screen. In such
case, check the Child Lock (V-Chip) Setting. (Please refer
to page 29 for more details.)
If you wish to make a Recording to a USB-HDD, you need to
Register a USB-HDD with this Unit beforehand. (Refer to 'USB-
HDD Connection' on pages 55–57.)

Select a Channel to Record using
[ CH +/− ] or [ the Number buttons ].

"HDD Source", then press [ OK ].

Note(s)
• While HDD / USB-HDD is in Playback the [ REC ] is Not
Available. Stop the Playback before using Basic Recording
or One-Touch Timer Recording.
