3. INSTALLATION

To obtain the best results from your new PIR covert camera, read
these instructions carefully before use. Retain the manual for future
reference. Recommended for indoor applications only.
This manual describes the installation of the PIR covert camera. For
more detailed information about the installation and operation of the
system monitor you should consult the monitor manuals.
Remark: When the system configuration is altered, the system
monitor needs to check and memorise the cameras and accessories
connected to its inputs. This is done automatically when the mains
power is switched on (rear switch).
Position
First you need to determine where the camera is to be installed. The
best results are obtained when the camera looks a little downwards
and not into a bright source of light.

Mounting the unit

Choose from the available mounting methods:
• Surface mount using the supplied swivel bracket
• Surface mount using an electrical box
• Surface mount without an electrical box
• Pole mount
