Youcan set the ovento delaythe start of cleaning,
cleonfor o selectedlength of time and turn off
automatically.
NOTE: B eforebeginning, m akesurethe clockshowsthe
correcttime of day.
O Turnthe OvenModeknobto CLEAN.
Turnthe OvenTemperature knobto CLEAN.
Theovenwill be setto cleanfor its normalcleantime
of 5 haurs.(ifa cleantime lessthan 5 hoursisneeded,
turn the Mini-Knob to the cleantime desired.) Pushto
enterit.
Youcan changethe cleantime to anytime between
3 and 5 hours,in 15 minuteincrements, d ependingon
the amountof soilin your oven.
NOTE: TheMini-Knobmustbe pushedfor theself-
cleancycleto be set.
Pushthe DELAY START button.Thecurrenttime of day
will flashin the display.
On double oven models, push the DELAY
STARTbutton once to set the upper oven and
twice to set the lower oven.
Turnthe Mini-Knobto selectand pushit to enterthe
time of dayyouwant the ovento turn on and start
cleaning.
NOTE: TheMini-Knobmustbe pushedfor the self-clean
cycleto be setto startat the time of dayentered.
Theovenis nowset to turn on at thetime of dayyou set
and cleanfor theset amount of cleantime.
tf your ovenisconnectedto a 208Velectrical s upply,we
recommendthat you setyour cleantime for 5 hours.

Tocheckthe start time,pushthe DELAY START button.To
changeit,turn and pushthe Mini-Knob.
Thedisplaywillshow START T IME. Whenthe starttime is
reached, t he ovenwillturn on automatically.
Thedisplaywillshow CLEAN and the cleantime remaining.
Asthe ovenheatsto the cleantemperature, t he door will
lockautomatically. T heLOCKED l ightwill turn on.
Thedisplaywillshowthe cleantime remaining.
tt will not be possible to openthe ovendoor untilthe
temperaturedropsbelowthe locktemperatureand the
LOCKED l ightgoesoff.
After the cleancycleiscompleteand theovenhas
cooled, E NDwillshow in the displayand the LOCKED
lightwillturn off.Turnthe ModeSelector and the
Temperatureknobsto OFF.
To stop o cleancycle,turn the ModeSelector and the
Temperatureknobsto OFF. W henthe LOCKED l ightgoes
off,indicating the ovenhascooledbelowthe locking
temperature, y ou will beable to openthe door.
NOTE: Ondoubleovenmodels, you canset a delayclean
in bothovensat thesametime.Turnthe OvenModeknob
andthe Temperature k nobof thesecond ovento CLEAN.
Thesecondovensetwill automatically delaythestart of
cleaning until theendof thefirst oven'scleancycle.
After a
clean cycle
Youmay notice somewhite ash in the oven.Wipeit up
with a dampcloth afterthe ovencools.
If white spotsremain, removethem with warm sudsy
water and rinsethoroughlywith a vinegarand water
mixture. T hesedepositsare usuallya salt residue that
cannot be removedby the cleancycle.
If the ovenis not cleanafter one cleancycle, repeat
the cycle.
Youcannot setthe ovenfor cookinguntilthe ovenis cool
enoughfor the door to unlock.
