Push the right side (A: UP) of the VOLUME

DOWN) of the VOLUME
BU-I-TON to make the sound softer.
Variation
of the volume
is displayed
in the lower part of the screen by the color
bar. (Fig. 1)
FUNCTION
SELEClION

Every time the AVX BUITON is pressed, the set alternates between the TV mode
and AVX mode. To watch the TV, set to the TV mode. At this time, the channel
number is displayed at the upper right of the screen. To enjoy a VCR, set to
the VIDEO mode. See page 14.

When pressing
the right side (A: U P) of the CHAN-
NEL BUT-FON, the next higher
channel
is selected.

the next lower channel
is selected
The No. of the channel
to which the TV is tuned is displayed
in the upper right
of the screen.

PICTURE
CAUTIONS
When using TV games, computers and similar products with your TV, keep the ,CONTRAST and BRIGHTNESS func-
tions at low settings. If a fixed (non-moving) pattern is left on tile screen for long, periods of tim,.=at a high CONTRASF
or BRIGHTNESS
setting, the image can be permanently
imprinted onto the screen. These types of imprints are
not covered by your warranty because they are the result of misuse.
When using the Picture-in-Picture function the sub-picture should not be left permanently in one cor'ler of the screen or a
"pattern burn" may develop over a long period of time.

of programs
broadcast
by TV stations
and
cable
companies
and programs
from other
video
sources.
Public
viewing
may require
prior authorization
from the
broadcaster
or owner
of the video
program.
