GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when
cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to
damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil,
grease, etc.

time allow brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products,
penetrating oils, etc. to come
in contact with plastic parts.
Chemicals can damage, weaken
or destroy plastic which may
result in serious personal injury.

CHUCK REMOVAL (Fig. 13-15)
The chuck can be removed and
replaced with a new one.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Lock the trigger switch
by placing the direction-
of-rotation selector in the
center position.
3. Open the chuck jaws.
