PROBLEM

CAUSE
Pressure switch does not shut off motor

Tube fittings are not tight enough.

Defective or dirty check valve.
Defective pressure switch release

Defective air tank.
Possible defect in safety valves.
Loose belt.
There is no oil in the compressor.

M_ve the pressure switch [everto the "OFF" position.

If_e contacts are good, check to see if the pin in the
I_om of the pressure release valve is stuck. If it
_s not move freely, replace the valve.
