2. Remove the vacuum t ubes b y turn-
ing the tubes c lockwise.
3. Close t he vacuum i nlet cover and
make s ure itislatched closed.
4. Reinstall theblower tubes ( see
BLOWER TUBE ASSEMBLY).
VACUUM BAG SHOULDER STRAP
ADJUSTMENT
1. Hold t he unit a sshown w ith the
muffler side facing away f rom your
body a nd clothes.
2. Pass t heshoulder strap o ver your
head a nd onto your r ight shoulder.
3. Extend your l eft a rm toward the
rear o fthe vacuum b ag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap u ntil the vacu-
um bag/shoulder strap s eam lies be-
tween your thumb and index finger.
5. Make s ure airflows f reely f rom the
elbow tube into bag. I fbag is
kinked, theunit w ill n ot o perate
properly.

SHOULDER STRAP ATTACHMENT
(optional accessory #71-85783)
1. Pass the shoulder strap over your
head and onto your left shoulder.
2. Snap the hook onto the retainer
(see following illustration).
