    To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury: • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. • Do not leave vacuum cleaner when plugged in. Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before servicing.

    ASSEMBLY PARTS Vacuum cleaner Crevice tool ASSEMBLY/ STORAGE Wrap electrical cord around the base of the cleaner. Secure electrical plug to cord to prevent cord from unwinding. Store crevice tool inside the base of the cleaner. HOW TO USE CAUTION: Moving parts. Make sure the power switch is in off (0) position before plugging in.

    (continued) Cleaning Accessories CAUTION: Moving brush roll, power switch should be in suction only position when using hose. Pull the hose from hose adaptor on cleaner. Pull the crevice tool out of the base of the cleaner. Place the crevice tool on the end of the hose. When cleaning is completed, store crevice tool back in the base of the cleaner and replace the hose in the hose adapter on the cleaner.

    HOW TO MAINTAIN (Continued) Brush Roll The brush roll turns to agitate, sweep and comb the carpet nap. Check the brush roll regularly to be sure it is in top condition. Cut away any hair or thread wound around the brush roll because the build-up could cause the brush roll to rotate unevenly.
