PC to a wireless network. Two connection methods are available: • The Express method, presented here, uses the NETGEAR Smart Wizard to install and configure the adapter automatically and allow you to connect to your wireless network with Push 'N' Connect Security. -
Page 3: Wireless Network
If you have a wireless router or access point that supports Push 'N' Connect (NETGEAR's Wi-Fi Protected Setup), then you will be prompted by the first screen. Leave the Yes... radio box checked and click Next to continue. Follow the Smart Wizard steps to connect using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). - Page 4 English The adapter will initiate your connection. It can take up to a minute to complete the connection. When connected, the Smart Wizard screen displays showing your connection details. A Profile name is automatically generated and your connection details are then saved to this profile.
- Page 5 English Understanding the Status Bar 1. Wireless network Identifies which wireless network you have joined. 2. Join a Network Click Join a Network to start the Connection Wizard. You can then select a different wireless network or reconnect to your current network, should you become disconnected.
- Page 6 English Affixing the USB Adapter Cradle You can use the USB cable and adapter cradle to extend the range of your adapter and obtain better wireless reception. Follow the instructions to attach the USB cable, plastic cradle, and loop-and-hook fasteners to a computer monitor. Attach the prickly side of one fastener to the middle back of the plastic cradle.

Technical Support After completing the Smart Wizard, locate the serial number on the bottom label of your product, and use it to register your product at http://www.NETGEAR.com/register. Sie werden aufgefordert, Ihren Adapter anzuschließen. Suchen Sie einen unbelegten USB-Anschluss an Ihrem PC. Stecken Sie den Wireless-Adapter in den USB-Port. Schließen Sie den Wireless USB-Adapter direkt oder mithilfe des USB-Kabels an (siehe „Die USB- Adapterhalterung“).

Sobald eine Verbindung hergestellt wurde, wird der Bildschirm des Smart Wizard Installationsassistenten mit den Verbindungsdaten angezeigt. Es wird automatisch ein Profilname erstellt, und Ihre Verbindungsdaten werden in diesem Profil gespeichert. Sie sind nun mit einem WLAN verbunden.

Folgen Sie den Anweisungen, um das USB-Kabel, die Kunststoffhalterung und die Klett-Pads am Monitor anzubringen.
