Align the riser cage with the
expansion card to the PCI Express
x16 slot on the motherboard.

Press the riser cage until the
golden connectors completely fit
the slot and the cage aligns with
the rear panel.

Secure the riser cage with two
screws.

Configuring an expansion card
After installing the expansion card, configure the it by adjusting the software settings.
1.
Turn on the system and change the necessary BIOS settings, if any. See
Chapter 5 for information on BIOS setup.

Assign an IRQ to the card. Refer to the following tables.

Install the software drivers for the expansion card.
