Perfect for beginners, Easy Mode takes complete control
of settings to make taking pictures as easy as possible. With Scene
Detection Technology, the camera can identify the best settings for
a wide range of different shooting situations. In Easy Mode the LCD
monitor is clear of icons to make framing your shot easier and offers
limited playback options to avoid accidental errors.
MOVIES IN HIGH DEFINITION
Shoot smooth, natural-looking movie clips with audio.
Selected models can now shoot in HD (720p, 30fps) with
CD quality stereo sound. Enjoy the results in-camera, on your PC or,
using a standard HDMI™ Mini Connector, on your HDTV for the best
possible quality lossless digital playback. For extra HD movie control,
selected models offer optical zooming during movies and a dedicated
movie record button – for instant movie recording in any mode.

Miniature Effect transforms everyday scenes into
miniature models
CREATIVE & FUN SHOOTING MODES
Get creative and make photography fun for beginners with
the new range of shooting modes. A new Fish-eye Effect
mimics the distortion of a fish-eye lens, while a Miniature
Effect can make subjects look like miniature-scale models.
Creative Light Effect transforms points of light, such as fairy
lights, into tiny stars, hearts or other shapes by moving the optical
Image Stabilizer unit during the exposure. Smart Shutter mode
includes a variety of self-timer features for making group shots
and self-portraits more easy and fun. Depending on the selection,
the shutter can be triggered by an extra face entering the frame,
a beaming smile or even the wink of an eye.
