  • Page 28: Explanation Of Circuit

EXPLANATION OF CIRCUIT IN NAVI MODE, the power supply is supplied to NAVI BLOCK and SERVO PCB. The NAVI signal from th microcomputer is Hi, and +3.3V and +5V are supplied to NAVI BLOCK from Q36, Q38 and Q40. +5V is supplied to SERVO PCB from Q120 a.
  • Page 29 EXPLANATION OF CIRCUIT c. Audio part There are 3 kinds of audio outputted by this set, NAVI GUIDANCE, DVD AUDIO, and VIDEO IN AUDIO. NAVI GUIDANCE outputted from NAVI BLOCK is directly inputted to SW IC13 . The audio outputted from DVD BLOCK is outputted to IC13 via GRAND ISOLATOR IC15 . VIDEO IN AUDIO is switched (input/output) by IC18 and AMP is performed at IC17 and inputted to IC13.
  • Page 30 EXPLANATION OF CIRCUIT 1. RF AMP PART(IC1101) For the signal read by PICK UP, AMP is performed, and equalizing of playback RF signal and error signal required for each SERVO are generated. 2. DSP PART(IC1201) Digital signal processing of the signal from RF AMP is performed, and control signals of PICK UP, SPINDLE MOTOR, and FEED MOTOR etc are outputted.
