Removing the nails:
1 Depress the feeder plate knob slightly and slowly
slide the nail feeder forward.
2 Remove the nails from the Nailer.

NAILER OPERATION

Read section titled "SAFETY" (pages 4 – 8).
● Operators and others in work
Ordinary eyeglasses do not
provide adequate protection.
● Only person who have read
● NEVER point tool at yourself
● Keep fi ngers AWAY from trigger when not
driving nails to avoid accidental discharge.
● Know and understand what trigger system
you are using.
Please read and understand "Methods of
Operation" below.
● Never place your hands or body closer than 8
inches (200 mm) from fi ring head when using.
● Do not drive nails into other nails; nails can
ricochet and hurt someone.
● Do not actuate Nailer unless Nailer is placed
fi rmly against the workpiece.
● Use only genuine HITACHI hardened nails for
this NR65AK2.

● Be sure to position and insert the fi rst
nail point through the hole in the metal
connectors.
● Always point fi rst nail protruded from the
nose away from yourself and others.
● Do not push tool forward when positioning
the fi rst nail in hole.
● When working close to an edge of a
workpiece or at steep angles, or driving
fasteners into thin workpiece use care to
minimize chipping, splitting or splintering, or
free fl ight, ricochet or piercing of fasteners,
which may cause injury.
● Do not drive nails at an angle of less than
50 degrees, since the nails can ricochet and
hurt yourself or someone else.
● Never drive nails from both sides of a wall
at the same time. Nails can be driven into
and through the wall and hit a person on the
opposite side.
● Never use Nailer which is defective or
operating abnormally.
● Do not use Nailer as hammer.
● Disconnect air hose from Nailer when:
safety
1) it is not in use;
2) leaving work area;
3) elevating, lowering or otherwise moving it
to another location;
4) handing it to another person;
5) performing any maintenance or repairs;
6) clearing a jam;
7) Nailer is outside of the operator's
supervision or control;
8) removing nails from the magazine; and
9) turning the top cover.
This tool has a Sequential Trip Mechanism (Single Shot)
for use where precision nail placement.
You must fi rst depress the nail point where you want
to drive a nail and then pull the trigger.
After the nail is driven, completely release the trigger
and lift the tool off the work surface.
This tool is not designed for contact trip operation (bounce
fi re), and not available for contact trip valve units.
And this tool has a push lever (safety) mechanism, this is
a diff erent push lever mechanism from another nailers.
The push lever is positioned on top at non fi ring and on
bottom at fi ring.
This tool is equipped with a lockout feature that prevents
the tool from being activated when there are 5 or less nails
in the magazine.
