CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program's settings to default. It is
recommended that you note the BIOS setup program's settings before removing the coin-cell battery.
2. Remove the base cover.

Steps
1. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the connector on the system board.
2. Unroute the coin-cell battery cable from the routing guides on the system board.
3. Using a plastic scribe, pry the coin-cell battery off its slot on the system board.
