Using the BCA-70 battery charge adaptor, you can
charge an NP-22/NP-22H battery pack with an
ACP-80UC/ACP-88 ac pack or a DCP-80 dc pack
connected to a cigarette lighter socket.
HOW TO USE
See illustration on page 3.
During charging the CHARGE lamp is lit.
After charging is completed, the CHARGE lamp goes
off.
a The side with the contacts (metal parts) must face
the inside.
b Insert the ac pack or de pack and the battery.
c ¢When the ACP-80UC or an ACP-88 ac pack is used,
connect it to an ac (mains) outlet.
When the DCP-80 de pack and the DCC-16AW (in
the European countries DCC-16AE is availabie) are
used, connect the car battery cord to the DC IN
jack of the de pack and the cigarette lighter socket.

Do not continuously recharge a charged battery pack
because battery pack efficiency will deteriorate.
Charging temperature
The temperature range for charging is 5°C to 35°C
(41°F to 95°F). However, to provide maximum battery
efficiency, the recommended temperature range when
charging is 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F).
