SETTING THE SPEAKER LISTENING DISTANCE
Ifthe speakerscannot be placedat equaldistancesfrom the listeningposition,you can adjustthe delaytime of the audio
signalsfrom the centerand surroundspeakers.
1. Press the SETUP/MENU button.
,, Each time the button is pressed, the mode switches between SETUP
ENTER and SETUP OFF.

2. Press the ENTER button to select SETUP ENTER.
3. Press the ,A, T buttons to select SPK DISTANCE, and then press the
ENTER or 1_ button.
4. Press the A _' buttons to select the speaker you want, and then press
the ENTER or I_ button.
,, Each time you press the ,i, 'V buttons, F.L ---)F.R-) CEN ---)S.L ---)S.R
--) S.W will be selected in turn.
5. Press the ,&_' buttons to set the Speaker Distance.
,, For the FRONT LEFT, FRONT RIGHT, CENTER, SURR. LEFT,
SURR. RIGHT and SUBWOOFER Speakers, you can set the distance
from the speaker to listening position between lft - 3Oft(0.%9.0m) in
intervals of l ft (0.3m).

- To exit setup mode -
• Press the SETUP/MENU button.
SETUP OFF appears on the display and Setup Mode is exited.
- Setting Speaker Distance -
Set the distance from the speaker to listening position in intervals of lft(O.3m).

,, F.R (front right): lft _ 3Oft ,, S.R (surround right): lft _ 3Oft
,, S.L (surround left) : lft - 3Oft ,, SW (subwoofer) : lft _ 3Oft

_ Ifthe listening position is beyond the range of the speaker distance setup, set the speaker distance to the
maximum.
_ The distance range of the overall speaker system is determined based on the F.L(frontleft) speaker
distance from the listening position.
