Oven Functions
You have the option of several methods of heating the oven at your disposal.
A ventilator in the rear wall of the oven ensures continual circulation of warm air in the oven.
The heat reaches the item to be cooked from all sides (Hot air is particularly suitable for bak¬
ing on up to two levels at the same time).
The oven temperatures are generally lower than when the heat source is from below and
above.
Heat source from above/below
The heat comes equally from above and below. It is suitable for baking and roasting on a
single shelf setting.
Infratherm roasting
Both grill elements and the ventilator are in operation. Infratherm roasting is particularly sui¬
table for grilling or roasting larger joints of meat or poultry on one shelf level.
Infratherm roasting is also suitable for au gratine finishes.
Surface grilling
Here the heat source comes from grill elements mounted in the oven ceiling. Surface grilling
is particularly suitable for grilling flat pieces of meat e.g. steaks, schnitzel, fish, or toast.
Defroster
With this function only the ventilation unit is in operation without the heating. Cakes, butter,
ice-cream, bread, fruit or other sensitive foodstuffs can be defrosted with this function.
