Normal play
n Press CD.
The power will come on automatically.
Q Press
^
OPEN/CLOSE to open the CD lid.
Insert the CD with label facing upward.
Press A OPEN/CLOSE to close the CD lid.
Total number of tracks and total playing time will appear on the
display.
Use
A
OPEN/CLOSE at all times.
The lid opening mechanism can be damaged rf you attempt to
open and close the lid by hand.
Q Press ^/l I.
Play will start from the first track on the CD.
Play will stop automatically when the last track on the CD fini¬
shes playing.
Q Adjust the volume level.
To stop the CD
Press ■.
To pause
Press ►/!! during playback.
To resume playback, press ►/! 1.
To search forward/
backward
Hold down (backward)
or (forward) during
playback or pause mode.
To skip forward/
backward
Press (backward) or
*f/►►/►►! (forward) during
playback or pause mode.
When appears on the display
This indicates there are 13 or more tracks on the CD.
Note
• During random play (page 13), you cannot skip to tracks which have
already been played.
• During program play (page 14) or random play, you cannot search
fonward or backward over tracks.
• During program play, skipping is always in the programmed order,
whether forward or backward.
One-touch play
When the system is OFF, playing starts automatically when you
press ►/II.
For your reference
•When the system is OFF, the power will come on automatically and
the lid is opened when you press
^
OPEN/CLOSE.
• If you press ►/! I instead of
A
OPEN/CLOSE after inserting a CD,
the lid will close and play will start directly from track 1.
To prevent damage □
Do not use irregular shape CDs.
