If the tool does not charge properly, take the tool and
u
charger to your local service center.
You may charge a partially used battery whenever you
u
desire with no adverse effect on the tool.
Change blade
Remove blade (Fig. B)
Insert a flat screwdrivers or coin into the blade bolt (5) slot.
u
Insert thin screwdriver into the spindle lock port (8).
u
Turn blade bolt counter clockwise to loosen and remove
u
bolt.
Slide blade (4) out past the shoe (9).
u
Fit new blade (Fig. B)
Slide new blade over shoe and align slots in blade against
u
the 2 drive pins (11) .
Ensure beveled edges (12) are facing outwards
u
Refit blade bolt and tighten (use spindle lock to ensure
u
blade is tight).

Operation

Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn
unit off and keep away from the on-off button before making
any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or
accessories. An accidental start‑up can cause injury.
Warning! Cut hazard. Keep fingers away from blades.
Warning! Always use proper eye protection while operating
this power tool.
Note: Before cutting any type of material, be sure it is firmly
anchored or clamped to prevent slipping.
Note: Always hold cutter firmly while cutting.
Lightly place blade against work to be cut as shown in Fig.

To switch the tool on, pull the trigger (1) as shown in Fig. D.

Press the lock out button (2) once to make the tool turn on
u
and remain on.
To switch the tool off, release the trigger.
u
Warning! Burn hazard. Do not touch the the blade
immediately after use. Contact with the blade may result in
personal injury.
Approved Materials
This tool is intended for use with paper, fabric, plastic,
cardboard, leather, canvas, wallpaper, thin rubber, thin carpet,
vinyl, and thin wire mesh.
Hints for Optimum Use
Cut only with sharp blades; they cut cleaner, faster and
u
put less strain on the motor while cutting.
When cutting materials with adhesive backing periodically
u
clean blades; adhesive residue will build up on blades
reducing the quality of cut and strain the motor.
When cutting curves, do not tilt the tool; keep the blades
u
perpendicular to the work piece.

Advance blades into the material without forced effort or

unnecessary pressure. A little practice will enable you to
determine what forward pressure gives you the smoothest
cutting
