GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The circuitry used in this 4-band (LW/MW/SW/FM) su per-
heterodyne system car radio incorporates 9 transistors,
16 diodes and 1 IC (integrated circuit).
An external car antenna feeds the AM (MW/SW/LW)
broadcasting signal to the AM RF amplifier, AM con-
verter, 2 IF amplifiers and a diode detector. .
An external car antenna feeds the FM broadcasting
signal to the FM RF amplifier, FM mixer, 4 IF am-
plifiers and FM detector (2 diodes).
The audio signal passes through the IC (audio amplifier
and driver circuits), 2-transistor audio output circuit.
An AM AVC voltage is fed back to the Ist IF amplifier.
An AFC voltage is fed back to the FM oscillator,
