INSTALLATION
RADIO
CONNECTIONS - fig. 2
Aerials
@ The FM-ANTENNA socket LOCAL @)) is used for connec-
tion to the Community or Cable Antenna System.
@ The FM-ANTENNA socket DISTANT @) is used for con-
nection to a roof-mounted FM aerial with an impedance of
75 ohms. If not available, connect the supplied wire aerial to
the centre pin of the socket.
@ In most areas, the supplied MW/LW loop aerial will pro-
vide satisfactory reception. Connect the wires to both LOOP
ANTENNA terminals @2) and position the aerial for best
reception.
In difficult reception areas, it may be necessary to use an
external AM aerial. Connect the aerial wire to Y and the
ground wire to +.
Amplifier

tuner input sockets of the amplifier.
Remote control

you can operate the tuner by remote control through the
sensor of the external set.
@ Connect the REMOTE CONTROL output socket @4) to the
input socket of any other external set without sensor which
is remote control prepared. In this way this extra set can
also be operated by remote control.

Connect the Brown wire to the terminal marked L or coloured Red.
Connect the Blue wire to the terminal marked N or coloured Black.
No connection is necessary to the earth terminal.
Note: This equipment must be protected by a 3 amp Fuse if a 13 amp plug is
used or, if any other type of plug is used, by a 5 amp Fuse either in the plug or
