In some situations, the electronic in-focus tone might be inconvenient. You
can turn off this tone so that it will not function in any mode.

Set the frame counter on the LCD
(H panel to 0.

To turn off the setting, do any of the
following.
- Press the shutter button halfway.
- Turn the Mode Dial.
- Wait approximately six seconds
(setting turns off automatically).
