Disc compartment number
With the playback side facing down
Turn on the TV.
PressI/(_ on the player.
Switchthe input selectoron your
TV sothat the signal from the
playerappears on the TV screen.
Press_" on the playerto open the
disc tray.
Placethe disc on the tray with the
playbackside facingdown.
Press_.
The disc tray closes and the player begins
pl3ying _l_e disc.
After Step 6
Depending on the disc, a menu may be
displayed on the TV screen, if so, select 1he
item you want ti'om 1he menu and pl3y lhe
DVD VIDEO (page 33) or VIDEO CD disc
(page 34).
To stop playin9
Press ll.
To removethe disc
Press_.
To turn off the player
Press I/Q). The player enters standby mode
and the power indicator lights up in red.
