BeforeYouBeginRecording
Make a test recording first to check if the
camcorder operates correctly. If
necessary, clean the video heads ([,,_J 2).
TO REVIEW THE LAST SCENE RECORDED

Move the lens cover switch down to
(_ to open the lens cover.

Holding the lock button pressed
down, set the _ switch to
CAMERA.
3 Move the _/5 switch to
(tape).

Press _ to begin recording.
Press _ again to pause the
recording.

Set the mode switch to @.
If the joystick guide does not appear
f,s_
on screen, press (_Sb') to d=splay it.
Push the joystick (4) momentarily
towards _ and release it.
• The camcorder will play back a few
seconds of the last recording made
and return to record pause mode.
• You can also hold the joystick
pressed ( 4 ) towards _ or ( _ )
towards E_ to play back the tape
(reverse or forward respectively) to
locate the point where you want to start
recording•
WHEN
YOUHAVE FINISHED RECORDING

Close the lens cover and the LCD
panel.

Turn offthe camcorder.

Remove the tape.

Disconnect the power source and
remove the battery pack.
