Adjusting the Sound
To fully enjoy the sound coming from your
stereo system, make the following audio
adjustments.
Adjusting the Volume
You can also use the remote to do this
operation.
VOLUME
Turn VOLUME or press VOL (+/-) on the
remote.
To reduce the volume temporarily
(muting)
Press MUTING.
The indicator on the MUTING button lights
up and the volume is reduced. To return to
the original volume, press MUTING again.
To listen to music without any audio
effects
Press SOURCE DIRECT (or DIRECT on the
remote).
The indicator on the SOURCE DIRECT
button lights up. The direct circuit on this
unit passes the music signals directly to the
outputs without sending them through the
tone control.
This feature can be used when you want to
listen to the music in its pure, unprocessed
state.
To listen through the headphones
Connect the headphones to HEADPHONES
jack. No sound will come from the
speakers.
Adjusting the Tone
Use the buttons on the unit to do this
operation.
BASS
TREBLE
SOURCE DIRECT
To adjust the bass sound
Turn the BASS control clockwise or
counterclockwise.
To adjust the treble sound
Turn the TREBLE control clockwise or
counterclockwise.
Notes
« You cannot record the adjusted sounds.
* When you cannot adjust the tone, press
SOURCE DIRECT (or DIRECT on the
remote) so that the indicator on the button
goes off.
