    TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS PROBLEM: Unit does not power up. CAUSE Shredder components are not properly installed or aligned. SOLUTION: Make sure that shredder head is properly placed on the waste basket. The shredder basket window should be aligned with the front of the lid. This unit has an automatic sensor that switches the shredder off when the shredder head is removed from the wastebasket.
