BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When
looking straight down at the display and the battery indicator ' ,is
turned off, replace the silver-oxide batteries (type G-10) with new ones.

Turn off the power by depressing the FF) key.
'Remove
the screw
from the back cover with a small screw driver(Fig.
1).
Detach the back cover (lid) in the reverse direction of arrow shown in
the figure 2 while slightly lifting its lower area, because the claws (2
pcs.) of the back cover
are hooked
in the slits provided at the upper
area of calculator proper.
Replace the used batteries with new ones.

Hook the claws of the back cover into the slits in the direction of arrow
shown
in figure 2 first.
Then
fit the back
cover
to the calculator
proper.

Push the back cover in slightly while replacing the screw.
Depress
the (FF) and
keys
in this sequence
to clear caiculations
registers.
When
the batteries are correctly installed, '""?0..'' will be
displayed.
Note:
*
Wipe
off the surface
of the new
batteries
with
dry cloth
and
then, install the silver-oxide batteries {type G-10) as shown in
fig. 3.

Always replace both of the batteries at the same time.
