Convenient
Intro
Scan
Operation
with the
Remote
Controller
The
Intro
Scan
function
plays
back
the
first
10 seconds
of
each
programme
(recorded
with
index
signal)
on
a tape
one
after
another. This
is
convenient
for
quick
checking
what
programmes
are
on a
tape, or
to
find
the
desired instalment
of
a
TV
series
you have
recorded
on a
tape.

still
playback

video
cassette.

When
the desired
scene
is
reached, press the Play
Button.
•The
Intro
Scan
function
may
not
be
activated
for
the
first
programme
recorded close
to
the
beginning
of
the
tape.
•During
the
Intro
Scan,
if
there
is
a
portion
without
any
recording
on
the
tape,
the
Intro
Scan
function
will
be
activated
at that position to
play
back
the
tape
for
about 10 seconds,
and
the
Intro
Scan
will
then
continue.
•The
Intro
Scan
function
may
not
be
activated,
if
the
interval
between
programme
starts
is
less
than
5
minutes
in
the
LP mode,
or less
than 2
minutes
in
the
SP
mode.
•If
a
portion
without
any
recording
on
the
tape
continues
for
more
than about
50
minutes
in
the
SP
mode,
or
more
than about
90
minutes
in
the
LP
mode,
the
Intro
Scan
function
will
be
cancelled
and
the playback
will
start.
