Read this Use & Care Guide. It will help you assemble and operate your new Kenmore air purifier in the safest and most effective way.

PARTS AND FEATURES

NOTE: The pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon filter are combined in the composite filter.

  • Pre-filter: Intercept hair, fiber fleece, large particles, dander, etc.
  • High Efficiency HEPA Filter: Filter out particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as PM2.5, smoke, pollen, mites, etc.
  • Activated Carbon Filter: Purify gaseous harmful pollutants.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Before assembling the air purifier, check the PACKING LIST. Use this list to verify that you have received all the components of your new Kenmore air purifier.


Electrical Shock Hazard
DO NOT plug into electrical supply until assembly is complete. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or injury. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to rain.


The included filter is placed inside the air purifier. Make sure the plastic packaging on the filter is removed and the filter is installed correctly before use.

  1. Flip the air purifier over. Twist the filter cover counterclockwise and remove it.

  1. Remove the plastic packaging from the filter and take out the power adapter, then place the filter back into the air purifier.

NOTE: The power adapter comes stored inside the air purifier filter.

  1. Replace the filter cover. Make sure the triangle on the filter cover aligns with the triangle on the bottom edge of the air purifier. Then twist clockwise to lock.

  2. Insert the power adapter into the power port on the bottom of air purifier.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

USING THE AIR PURIFIER

  1. When using the air purifier, keep it away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.
  2. Plug the power adapter into the outlet. When powered on, the buzzer gives a "Di" sound and ON/OFF button is in dim light. The air purifier is in the standby state.
  3. Tap to turn on the air purifier. The fan will default to the first speed setting.
  4. To adjust fan speed, tap to switch between all three speeds.
  5. Hold for 2 seconds to turn off the air purifier.

CONTROLS & DISPLAY

ON/OFF Button

Tap to turn on/off the air purifier.

  • In the standby state, ON/OFF button is in dim light. Tapping the button will turn on the air purifier, all buttons and bottom lamp light up. After several seconds, bottom lamp goes out.
  • To turn off, hold for 2 seconds.

Fan Speed Button/Indicators

Tapto adjust fan speed between I, II, and III.

  • The fan speed indicators will light up when active.
  • Fan speed III is the loudest, but cleans air the quickest.
  • For best results, or to address a specific air quality issue such as smoke, run the air purifier at high speed (level III) for 15–20 minutes before using a lower speed.
  • To effectively clean air, keep windows and doors closed while the air purifier is on.

Sleep Mode Button

Sleep Mode operates quietly by using the lowest fan speed.

  • Tap to turn Sleep Mode on/off.
  • In this mode, only the sleep mode button is in dim light and all other buttons light off. Tapping the sleep mode button or fan speed button will wake up all of the other icons.

Child Lock Button

This function prevents settings from being accidentally changed. Buttons will not respond to being tapped.

  • Hold for 2 seconds to lock/unlock the display.
  • In the working state, hold for 2 seconds, the child lock function will be activated. All other buttons cannot be operated and the lights will turn off. Holding for 2 seconds again will unlock all other buttons to be operated and turns back on the lights.

Timer Button/Indicators

Tap to manually set a timer for 2, 4, or 8 hours.

  • The corresponding timer indicator 2h, 4h or 8h will light up when active.
  • Once the timer has finished, the air purifier will automatically turn off.
  • To cancel a timer, tap until all timer indicators are off.
  • Fan speed can be changed at any time while the timer is on.
  • The timer will restart if the time is changed.

Bottom Lamp Button

Tap to regulate brightness between I, II, and III and tap again will turn off the light.

  • Turning off the air purifier will turn off the light.

Filter Reset Button

  • The filter life is about 6 months. When the remaining filter life is less than 150 hours, the Filter Reset indicator will flash red to remind users to replace the filter until the filter life is reset.
  • Filter life reset: When the filter life is less than 150 hours, press and hold the Filter Reset button for 5 seconds to reset the Filter Reset button.
    NOTE: When the remaining filter life is more than 150 hours, the Filter Reset Button cannot be operated.
  • Forced Filter Life Reset: Within 30 seconds of powering on, hold the ON/ OFF Button and Filter Reset Button at the same time for more than 5 seconds. The screen will flash for 6 times and the air purifier enters standby state which indicate that the filter life is reset.

Always follow all safety precautions when performing maintenance to the air purifier.


Electrical Shock and Personal Injury Hazard
Disconnect the power adapter cord from electrical supply before servicing or cleaning the air purifier. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury.]

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE: The machine must be unplugged before cleaning.

  1. Cleaning the main body.
    1. Use a soft cloth to wipe down main body.
    2. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove tough stains.

NOTE: Do not scratch the main body with hard objects during maintenance. Please operate according to the instructions and do not damage the parts when removing the filter cover.

  1. Replacing the filter.
    1. The filter life may vary depending on the environment and fan speed.
    2. When the surface of the outer prefilter is dusty, clean it with soft cloth can extend the filter life.
    3. The filter is recommended to be replaced when filter change indicator comes on.

NOTE: The filter lifespan may be shorter or longer based upon fan speed, run time and environment.

Please dispose the used filters as combustible rubbish.

CLEANING & REPLACING THE FILTER

  1. Unplug the air purifier. Flip the unit over and remove the filter cover (see ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS).
  2. Remove the filter from the air purifier.
  3. The outer surface of the filter should be cleaned every 2–4 weeks to increase the efficiency and extend the life of the filter. Clean the outer surface of the filter using a soft cloth to remove hair, dust, and large particles.

NOTE: Do not clean the filter with water or other liquids.

  1. Clean out any remaining dust or hair inside the air purifier using a vacuum hose. Do not use water or liquids to clean the air purifier.
    CLEANING & REPLACING THE FILTER
  2. If required, replace with a new filter. Unwrap the new filter from the packaging.
  3. Replace the cleaned or new filter into the air purifier (see ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS).
  4. Replace the cover. Plug in the air purifier.
  5. Reset the filter reset button (see Filter Reset Button section).

TROUBLESHOOTING

Review this table to find do-it-yourself solutions for minor performance problems. Any service needed, other than maintenance described in this Use & Care Guide, should be performed by a qualified service agent.


Disconnect electrical supply before performing maintenance to the air purifier. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION

Air purifier will not turn on or
respond to button controls.
Connection problem. Make sure that the power adapter is fully inserted into the power port on the bottom of air purifier and is also plugged into the wall outlet.
Filter cover is not placed properly. Re-install the filter and the filter cover correctly.
Defective wall outlet. Check with a good appliance or lamp. Be sure the power adapter plug is fully plugged into a good wall outlet.
The power adapter is damaged. Call 1-877-531-7321 (US) / 1-844-608-3081 (CA) for assistance.
Fresh air cannot be delivered
smoothly from the air outlet.
The plastic packaging on the new filter has not been removed. Remove the plastic packaging.
The air outlet of the air purifier is blocked by foreign objects. Remove the foreign objects.

Poor air
purification quality.
Low fan speed. Tap to change fan speed.
The air inlet or outlet is blocked by foreign objects. Remove the foreign objects.
Room size and outside air quality may affect air purifier cleaning ability. Air purification may take longer if room is larger than 850 sq. ft. Close doors and windows while using the air purifier.
The composite filter needs to be replaced. Replace the filter (See instructions on how to order a new filter).


Abnormal noises during operation.

The plastic packaging on the new filter has not been removed. Remove the plastic packaging.
The air purifier is not placed on a level surface during operation. Make sure the air purifier is operating on a hard, flat, level surface.
The air inlet or outlet is blocked by foreign objects. Remove the foreign objects.
The composite filter needs to be replaced. Replace the filter (See instructions on how to order a new filter).
Foreign object may be inside the air purifier. Stop using the air purifier and call 1-877- 531-7321 (US) / 1-844-608-3081 (CA) for assistance.
Strange odor
coming from the air purifier.
The composite filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. Clean the filter or replace if necessary.
High humidity. Avoid using in an area with high humidity.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions in this guide before assembling or using your air purifier.


Your safety is important to us. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, injury to persons or damage when using your air purifier, follow basic safety precautions including the following:

  • Use your air purifier only as described in this Use & Care Guide. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
  • Disconnect the air purifier from the power supply before servicing or cleaning.
  • Do not use without removing the plastic wrap from the filter. The purifier will not filter air, and may overheat, causing a fire hazard.
  • To reduce the risk of electrical shock - Do not use outdoors.
  • Keep the air purifier away from water, and wet or damp areas. Never place in water or liquid.
  • Keep the air purifier away from heat sources.
  • Do not use in excessively humid areas.
  • Do not use where combustible gases, vapors, metallic dust, aerosol (spray) products, or fumes from industrial oil are present.
  • Keep 5 ft / 1.5 m away from where oxygen is being administered.
  • Supervise children when they are near the air purifier. Do not allow children to play with the air purifier.
  • Children should not clean or perform maintenance on the air purifier without supervision.
  • Do not put any objects into any opening on the air purifier.
  • Do not sit or place heavy objects on the air purifier.
  • Do not block the air inlet and air outlet.
  • Keep the inside of the air purifier dry. To prevent moisture buildup, avoid placing in rooms with major temperature changes or underneath air conditioners.
  • Do not use with a damaged cord, plug, or other parts.
  • Do not use your air purifier if it is damaged or not working correctly. Do not try to repair it yourself. Call 1-877- 531-7321 (US) / 1-844-608-3081 (CA) for assistance.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with rugs, runners, or other coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Direct cord away from traffic areas where it will not be tripped over.
  • Never place the cord near any heat sources.
  • Keep the air purifier near the outlet it is plugged into.
  • Do not touch the power plug or power adapter with wet hands.
  • Be careful when cleaning the air purifier. Strong corrosive detergent will damage the surface of the air purifier.
  • Remove the dust from the air purifier body and power plug periodically.
  • Do not rinse or reuse the high-efficiency composite filter.
  • Only use the power adapter provided with this air purifier.
  • If the power adapter cord is damaged, immediately discontinue use and call 1-877-531-7321 (US) / 1-844-608-3081 (CA) for assistance.
  • This air purifier is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.


To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this air purifier with any solid-state speed control device.
