Load your document
Using the Automatic Document
Feeder (ADF)

Open the Top Cover.

Pull the Cover Extension a out.

Unfold the Document Guides a.

Lift the Document Stopper a and slide it to fit
the size of your paper.

IMPORTANT
Always open the top cover fully to avoid damaging
the document.

Fan the pages well.
f
Carefully place your document, face down, top
edge first in the ADF, between the Document
Guides, until you feel it touch the inside of the
machine. Adjust the Guides a to fit the width of
your document.
