6. ADJUSTMENT
6.1 REQUIRED TOOLS
• Personal computer:
RS-232C port, screen resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels, with 16-
bit colors, Windows 95 installed.
PC Monitor
• RS-232C cable:
Cable supplied with the unit or a D-sub 9-pin straight cable
• Illuminometer:
Minolta T-1 or equivalent
• Video signal generator:
NTSC, PAL or SECAM output
• Oscilloscope
• Dedicated cable:
Mini-plug-to-BNC-plug cable for connection between the
illuminometer and oscilloscope
• LD player and laser disc:
For checking picture quality (type used with a projection TV)
• Remote control unit:
Type for projection TV servicing
AXD1369 supplied with the SD-V5070NE, or equivalent Video
1, Video 2 and Video 3 selection keys required.
Audio selection (main/sub, stereo) key and Factory mode key
desirable.
• Dark room
Capable of maintaining darkness below approx. 10 lux.
As the reference for adjustments, set the focus with the 40-inch
zoom wide setting. (The setting needs not be strictly 40 inches.
Note that, however, the adjustment may not be easy with a too
large picture.)
In this case, the projection distance is approx. 1.5 m.
• Screen
A simple one may be accepted. (A white wall may be sufficient.)
• Adjustment software:
