Select the desired band with the band selector.
If the AUTO indicator appears on the display, press
TUNE MODE.
The AUTO indicator disappears.

3 Check if the TUNING indicator appears on the display.
If not, press TUNING/PRESET.

Find the desired station by turning the TUNING knob
toward » for higher frequencies or <4 for lower frequen-
cies.

d'accord vers ® pour les fréquences supérieures, et
vers <4 pour les fréquences inférieures.
For FM stereo reception
Normally, press MUTING.
MUTING indicator appears on the display. To tune in a very weak
FM station, press again to reset it. The MUTING indicator goes off.
To receive a weak FM broadcast
Set MUTING off (press MUTING so that the MUTING indicator
disappears from the display window), and if it is still noisy, set FM
MODE to the MONO mode.
To tune in only stations with strong signals
Press ANT ATT to make the ANT ATT indicator appear (ST-
$770ES/S570ES), or press RF MODE to make the DIRECT
indicator appear (ST-S333ESG).
When the desired station is interfered with adjacent stations
Press the IF BAND button so that the NARROW indicator appears
in the display window.
In this mode, the selectivity increases so
that interference-free sound is obtained.

Réception FM stéréo
Normalement, enclencher la touche MUTING.
L'indicateur MUTING s'allume sur !'afficheur. Pour accorder une
Station FM trés faible, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche pour
annuler le silencieux. L'indicateur MUTING s'éteint.
Réception d'une émission FM a faible signal
Accord sur les stations a signal puissant uniquement
Appuyer sur fa touche ANT ATT pour afficher le temoin ANT ATT
(ST-S770ES/S570ES) ou appuyer sur RF MODE pour que le
témoin DIRECT apparaisse (ST-S333ESG).
Lorsque la station est dérangée par des stations adjacentes,
Appuyer sur la touche IF BAND pour afficher le temoin NARROW.
Dans ce cas, l'accord est plus précis et les interférences sont
réduites.
