Section 3 – Configuration
The system log displays chronological event log data. The event log can be read from local host or sent to a System Log server. The available event
severity levels are: Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning, Notice, Informational and Debugging.
To access the SYSTEM LOG setting window, click on the System Log button under the MAINTENANCE tab.
REMOTE LOG SETTING
Click on the Log Enable check-box and select
Log/Display Level from the drop- down menu.
Select display mode from the Mode drop-down
menu; enter the Server IP Address and Server
UDP Port number if Both/Remote Mode is
selected.
Log Level:
All events above or equal to the
selected level will be logged.
Display
All logged events above or equal
Level:
to the selected level will be
displayed.
Mode:
Display mode of system log.
Local: Display on local host only.
Remote: Send log file to remote
system log server only
Server IP
IP address of the remote system
Address:
log server
Server UDP
UDP port number of the remote
