Installation environments

Be sure to install the robot in the following environments.

temperature
Allowable ambient humidity
Altitude
Ambient environments
Vibration
Working space
For detailed information on how to install the robot controller, refer to the separate
"YAMAHA Robot Controller User's Manual".

WARNING
Avoid installing the robot in locations where the ambient conditions may
exceed the allowable temperature or humidity, or in environments where
excessive moisture, corrosive gases, metallic powder or dust are generated.
Malfunctions, failures or short circuits may otherwise result.

WARNING
• This robot was not designed for operation in environments where inflammable or
explosive substances are present.
• Do not use the robot in environments containing inflammable gas, dust or
liquids. Explosions or fire could otherwise result.

WARNING
Avoid using the robot in locations subject to electromagnetic interference,
electrostatic discharge or radio frequency interference. Malfunctions may
otherwise occur.

metallic chips and organic solvent.
Avoid installation near corrosive gas and corrosive
materials.
Avoid installation in atmosphere containing inflammable

Avoid installation near objects causing electromagnetic
interference, electrostatic discharge or radio frequency
interference.
Do not subject to impacts or vibrations.
Allow sufficient space margin to perform jobs (teaching,
inspection, repair, etc.)
