USE OF DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Choosing the right washing
powder.
Always use a low
lather powder. This is
important as too much lather
prevents the articles from
being properly cleansed and
you may damage the machine.
Ariel Automatic
is specially
designed to complement the
cleaning action of the machine.
USE OF WASHING
POWDER
The washing powder
should be placed in the
appropriate compartments in
the washing powder
dispenser drawer before
starting the programme.
The compartment marked
with the symbol |JJ is for
the prewash powder (if
required by the programme).
The compartment marked
with the symbol UU is for
the main wash powder.
The table here-below
indicates the amount of the
detergent (in percent) to be
used in comparison with the
quantities recommended by
the detergent manufacturer
for programmes without
prewash according to the
amount of laundry and water
hardness.
The amount in percent
relevant to synthetics, woo]
and silk refer to special
detergents for machine
washing these fabrics.
Your local water authority
will be able to tell you how
hard your water is.
