Opening/closing the hood (automatic hood option)

There are two options to open the hood and close it without starting a programme (e.g. during idle periods):

Unlocking the hood (automatic hood optional)

If the hood can no longer be moved, the hood can be unlocked manually.
Ø
Pull the retaining clip (1) forwards out of the safety mechanism and guide it into the slot (2).
Ø
Press the retaining clip (1) through the slot (2) in the direction of the arrow.
Ø
Remove the retaining clip (1).
ð The automatic hood is unlocked.
It is still possible to wash when manually opening and closing the hood. A fault message appears on the display at the end of each pro-
gramme.
Ø
Acknowledge the fault message.
Ø
Contact an authorised service technician for the repair.

gram.

Press the start button (1) on the front cover for 2 seconds.
Press the "Open hood" button.
Press the "Close hood" button.
